Copyright Policy and DMCA Compliance

last updated · October 14, 2026

Glow (glow.moe) respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to submit copyright complaints, how we handle counter‑notifications, and how we deal with repeat infringement. We follow the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws where applicable.

The Service is operated by SplitFlux LLC ("Glow", "we", "us").

Nothing here is legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes a copyright, or whether your use is permitted (for example under fair use or a license), seek legal counsel before filing.

Email is the fastest way to reach us, and we accept notices and counter‑notices by email. Notices that do not substantially meet the requirements below may be delayed or rejected.

Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe content on Glow infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the contact above that includes all of the following:

  • A clear identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list if there are several).
  • The exact URL(s) on glow.moe where the allegedly infringing material appears, with enough detail for us to find it.
  • Your full name and reliable contact information, including an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

By submitting a notice, you agree that we may forward its contents (including your contact details) to the user who posted the material, and may share redacted versions for transparency or legal compliance. When we receive a valid notice, we generally remove or disable the reported material and notify the user, and we may suspend related features while we review.

Counter‑Notification

If your content was removed due to a notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter‑notification to legal@glow.moe that includes all of the following:

  • Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  • Your full name and reliable contact information, including an email address.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts for your address, and your acceptance of service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter‑notification, we will forward it to the original claimant. Unless the claimant tells us they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within a reasonable time.

Restoration, Escalation, and Preservation

We restore material in line with applicable law after a valid counter‑notification, unless the claimant starts court action. We may temporarily retain removed material to comply with the law, preserve evidence, or process the dispute, and may limit account functionality while a dispute is pending.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Accounts with repeated or serious copyright violations may be suspended or terminated. We weigh factors such as the number and validity of notices, failure to respond, and prior history, and may remove linked content or disable features to deter abuse.

Abuse of Process

We may reject notices or counter‑notices that are incomplete, abusive, automated, deceptive, or intended to suppress lawful speech, and may limit submissions from senders who repeatedly file defective or bad‑faith claims.
