the extras update ✧ 09/21/26

Two more weeks, and somehow it was a lot again (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) Extras opened up for everyone with ten new share cards and an anonymous question box, ten new badges landed, Sandbox grew a layers panel, Support is open to all, and there's a little Minecraft surprise in there too. Let's go ♡

Extras: your new toy box

There's a new section in the sidebar called Extras, and it's for everyone, no plan needed to get in. Right now it holds Cards and Ask, and whatever we cook up next lands there too.

share cards: ten more ways to flex

Share cards are little images of your taste you can post anywhere. There were three. Now there are a lot more ♡

• Taste DNA: what your library says about you in one card
• Rotation: what you've actually been playing lately, dated
• Anime shelf and Movie shelf: your favorites as a wall of covers
• Trophy showcase: your best unlocks with rarity, per platform
• Rarest: your single rarest achievement, with the percentage to prove it
• Card: your tags, favorite characters and stats on one badge, for meeting people at events
• Platforms: everything you're connected to, in one place
• Wrapped: your year so far

Every card has options now: pick the platform, the order, which side is which. Cards open in a sheet inside the dashboard instead of dragging you off to another page, they use glow's own fonts and the G mark, and they pull real cover art. A card is ready the moment the data behind it is, and the page tells you what to connect to unlock the rest.

ask me anything, anonymously

Ask gives you a page at glow.moe/ask/yourname where anyone can drop you a question without signing in. Questions land in your inbox in the dashboard, newest first, and you can turn the good ones into a story card for Instagram or TikTok with one tap ♡

• Pastel looks for the page and the cards: dark by default, light if you prefer
• Glow+: four extra looks (cotton clouds, sakura, night sky, glow), and you write the page title, the box text and the button yourself

Where: Extras > Ask. Turn it on, copy your link, put it in your bio.

badges: ten new ones, and they listen to you

Ten new badges award themselves as you use glow: for a shelf of PlayStation platinums, a game past a thousand hours, a properly out-of-hand anime backlog, a shelf that's actually full, connecting everything you own, your first half year here, helping someone out, and a few you'll have to find ♡ Supporters get a badge for as long as Glow+ is active.

You're in charge of what shows: click any badge you've earned to see how you got it and hide or show it on your profile. The Favorites page and the Badges page use the same switch, so it stays hidden everywhere.

design: the dials you asked for

• Section switches in every layout. Simple, Links, Deck, Arcade, Cabinet, Diary, Journal and Stickers all let you hide or show your badges, tags, music card, social icons and the support button, one by one, from Design
• Glow intensity: one slider for how much your card glows on hover, the halo around it and your avatar ring. Turn it all the way down for a flat look
• Sparkle color: pick the color of your glow, or leave it empty and it follows your accents
• Text that reads on any background: with the card off and a photo or video behind your text, the type gets a soft halo and the muted lines get stronger, so your bio stops disappearing into your wallpaper
• Your colors, everywhere: Settings has a palette picker for the dashboard itself. Kawaii (pink and purple) is the default, Sunrise is gold and blue, and "Your colors" paints the dashboard with your profile's accents ♡
• Design export and import stay honest: a look you export never carries your background, colors or music, and importing one never overwrites yours

sandbox grew up

Sandbox, the free-canvas layout under Experimental, got the tools a canvas builder should have had from day one.

• Undo and redo, duplicate, lock, and a layers panel
• Select several boxes at once, align them, copy a style from one box to another
• Show or hide any box per screen size, with a phone column so you can see exactly what visitors get on mobile
• Box opacity and glass
• Starter presets to begin from, and up to three personal presets of your own per layout

templates: wear a look, share yours

Templates is in the sidebar. Browse looks made by other members, hit Try it on and it applies to your profile, full look, in one step. Every template card shows who made it, with their glow avatar.

The new part: share your own. One button turns your saved profile (layout, fonts, colors, background media, the whole thing) into a template. It goes through a quick review by the team, then it's out there with your name on it ♡

splitcraft says hi

SplitCraft is a Minecraft server we're friends with, and it's wired into glow now. Type /glowmoe in game to link your account: while you're on the server your profile shows it, and glow.moe/yourname/splitcraft turns into a live page with your skin, your world and your server stats. Glow Live Desktop 26.7 puts it on your Discord too. Glow+ members get VIP+ on the server ♡

L!VE,

• The compact now-playing card on Stickers, Diary, Journal and Cabinet shows Steam, Valorant and Dota 2 games too, with art and live details
• The League live page works on phones, and while you're in game your skin's splash fills the whole page
• Hide my name (for League) now hides you everywhere outside a live match, including tabs and cards, while the live match keeps you masked
• Steam sessions are tracked by us, so the clock keeps going when Steam's own timer gets shy, and it reads h:mm:ss past an hour
• Live pages refresh in place: no more scroll jumps, videos keep playing
• Your whole Steam library is stored now, not the first 120 games, and hidden last-played dates don't zero your hours anymore
• Wuthering Waves resonators are a favorite-character source, and manga can be searched by name and added straight from Favorites, like anime

support is open to everyone

The Support page in the sidebar used to be for verified creators. As of today it's for every account with a confirmed email: open a ticket, it becomes a chat with the team, and you get a notification when we answer. Glow+ members and verified creators keep a perk, their tickets carry a priority mark and jump the queue. The help center's contact button takes you straight there, and [email protected] still works ♡

accounts and safety

• One mailbox, one account. A second account needs its own address, and banned mailboxes stay banned
• Change your email in Settings: the new address gets a confirmation link, the old one gets a heads-up
• Until you verify your email, uploads, links, guestbook posts, events, themes and domains wait. Verify and everything unlocks
• The Glow+ trial asks for a confirmed email and a card up front
• Behind the scenes: framework security updates, and the site sits behind Cloudflare properly now

little things ♡

• Extras and Templates wear a little New badge in the sidebar until you've seen them
• A what's new pill in the top bar, and the L!VE pill only shows while someone is actually live
• The Comments page and the sign-up page are translated
• Music: play from the Deck avatar even on cover-art tracks, and every player on the page stays in sync
• Deck's grid tabs stop squishing posters into a strip
• Arcade's music player moved under the left column
• Link clicks on your profile go through your own domain now
• Blend, the compare-with-a-friend card, is getting a rework and comes back to Extras soon
• Fixed: Steam showcases showing 0 hours on a freshly launched game
• Fixed: cards leaking hidden movies and badges to visitors
