Two weeks, and somehow it was a LOT again (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ Your page can now show the Roblox game you're in, the chapter you're reading and the song you're listening to, the L!VE tab got rebuilt from scratch, the desktop app got a big glow-up, and the dashboard has a whole wardrobe of new palettes. Let's go ♡

Roblox, live on your page

Playing Roblox? With the L!VE desktop app running, the game you're in pops up on your profile with its icon and how long you've been in. Tap it and you land on your brand new Roblox page: the game, how many people are playing it right now, visits, favorites, what it's about, and your Roblox card if you've linked your account ✧

On Discord it reads Playing ROBLOX, with the game, its icon and an Open game button. The server you're on is never shared, so nobody can sneak in after you.

Where: glow.moe/yourname/roblox, and the little chip on your profile.

SplitCraft Season 2

Your SplitCraft page and Discord status know the new season: the new worlds, Base Build maps and ranks show up by name. Glow+ members also get the Nebula rank there as a little bonus, just link your Minecraft account in Links ✧

The L!VE extension 1.1: reading and music

The browser extension used to be all about anime. Now it does a whole lot more ♡

  • Reading: manga and webtoons, chapter by chapter, on your new /manga page. A tiny card on the reader page shows your list progress, and Mark Ch updates AniList or MyAnimeList in one tap.
  • Music: the song playing in a music player in your browser, on your new /music page. On regular YouTube only music videos count, everything else stays private.
  • 70+ more sites for anime and manga.
  • The popup: your glow notifications with an unread count on the icon, friends from your blends who are live right now, and your watch, read and listen time this month (only you see those, promise ♡)
  • Privacy switches: pause sharing, switch a site off, and private windows stay private unless you turn them on. A tab you forgot about drops off your page on its own after a few minutes.
  • Optional: mark an episode automatically once 85% of it has played.

It's out on Firefox now, and Chrome gets it as soon as the store finishes its review.

A brand new L!VE tab

The L!VE tab in your dashboard got rebuilt from the ground up: a live preview of what your page shows, the apps right next to it, and one What shows up list where every source has its own switch. New here? You land on a friendly intro that explains the desktop app and the extension, with the downloads right there (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

  • The League OBS overlay is free for everyone now. Put your live rank and match on stream.
  • Your live pages get real link previews, so sharing glow.moe/yourname/splitcraft reads "yourname on SplitCraft" instead of a bare link.
  • Your /anime, /manga, /music and /roblox pages use your page's own accents and background now, so they feel like a cozy part of your profile ♡ The music page fits on one screen on desktop, cover on the left and the song on the right ♪

Desktop app 26.8

  • Progress bars on Discord for anime and music, with the time left, and Reading for manga.
  • Roblox, as above.
  • Hide on Discord from the tray: for an hour, or until you leave the game you're in. Your glow page keeps updating while Discord stays quiet.
  • Updates that find you: when a new version is out, the app pops up in its corner with Update now or Later. It never steals focus, never shows up mid-game or over anything full screen, and Later waits a day.
  • When something breaks, the app can tell support what went wrong (just the error, the app version and the game), so we can help faster.
  • Your stream delay is always loaded before anything goes out, so a hiccup can never post a match without it.

Your dashboard, your colors

  • New palettes: Celestia, Yandere, Kuudere, Tsundere, Dandere, Matcha, Midnight and Vaporwave, the new default and free for everyone ✧ Some of them are Glow+.
  • Your colors tints the whole dashboard from your page's accents now.
  • One little menu in the header picks light, dark or system and your palette.
  • A Support me pill links straight to your own tip page.

Your profile

  • Cabinet, Diary, Journal and Stickers show what you're reading or listening to, not just what you're watching.
  • 18+ pages can blend now, and share cards work with your avatar on them. Ask stays off for 18+ pages.
  • Content note: one short line in Settings that shows before your page opens, a little heads-up for visitors without turning anything off.
  • Badges in your order: drag your badges around in Favorites and they show up that way on your page.
  • Fancy display names (the math letters, Cyrillic, symbols and friends) render properly on share cards, and blend cards speak your language, ş and İ included.
  • Blend keeps getting better: every match tier has its own story song now, and the last slide shares an upright story card (◕‿◕✿)
  • Explore shows more pages, and the creators row on the homepage shows every founding creator.

Sign-in and safety

  • Sign in with Steam: one tap into the account that has your Steam connected.
  • Signing in with Discord, Steam or MyAnimeList from a browser we haven't seen sends you a heads-up email, same as a password sign-in.
  • Hidden connections and hidden games stay hidden everywhere, and a private page's guestbook is only yours.
  • Usernames with slurs or that pretend to be glow staff are turned away.
  • Every email from glow got a fresh look.✧

Fixes

  • Steam achievement icons that weren't loading for newer games are back.

  • Platinum Club counts your platinums from your PlayStation trophy summary.

  • Display names on L!VE, Explore and the homepage no longer lose the bottom of their letters.

  • Templates no longer carry someone else's Discord server, tip link or status onto your page.

  • Support has a Verification request category, with a hint on what to send.

  • New help articles: the L!VE extension, Ask, share cards, events, invites, the Discord server, sign-in options, email and password, and your data.
